I'm a lawyer. My days are contracts, disputes and statutes; but what really keeps me up are the questions at law's own edges: what does the “cause” of an event really mean? How does the arrow of time constitute responsibility? What would judgment look like if we treated uncertainty not as a defect but as a principle? This notebook sets law beside philosophy and physics and goes looking for the grammar they share.
